2015 NFL Mock Draft

Round 1 of 1 Rounds

1. CLE: QB Josh Allen, Wyoming
At this point the order in which the four top quarterbacks will be drafted is still very much up in the air. However, after showing off his powerful arm this offseason and due to Carson Wentz's impressive season I believe Allen is the first quarterback off the board despite his accuracy concerns and lack of team success. With that said, I don't believe he's one of the four best QBs in this draft. Compares to: Carson Wentz
2. NYG: RB Saquon Barkley, Penn St.
By every athletic measure Barkley is one of the most impressive physical specimens the NFL has seen enter the league ever. He is a can't miss playmaker that can impact the offense with his talent and versatility. He may be the closest thing we've seen to Barry Sanders. Compares to: Barry Sanders
3. NYJ: QB Sam Darnold USC
Darnold was once viewed as a can't miss stud by many before his 2017 season. I believe he should be the fourth quarterback off the board but he'll be second at worst. He reminds me of a poor man's Andrew Luck without the incredible intangibles. Compares to: Andrew Luck
4. CLE: CB Denzel Ward, Ohio St.
The Browns desperately need help in the defensive backfield. Ward is a talented kid and is climbing draft boards quick. He's a true top corner and will climb higher than many expected just a few weeks ago.
5. DEN: DE Bradley Chubb, NC State
Chubb has the talent to be the first-overall pick in this draft but it's just not the way this one shakes out barring someone trading back. He is the premier defensive end in this class and player that could make the Broncos' defense great again.
6. IND: OG Quenton Nelson, Notre Dame
It's not often an offensive guard is the first offensive lineman drafted is a guard. As a matter of fact the last time it happnened John Elway was the premeir star in the draft. Still, Nelson is viewed that much better than all the tackles and Colts desperately need to sure up their O-line.
7. TB: CB Minkah Fitzpatrick, Alabama
Fitzpatrick will be a huge add for the Bucs. He's a versatile DB and an intelligent leader. He's a steal at pick No. 7.
8. CHI: LB Roquan Smith, Georgia
Smith turned heads late in the season when he was on the big stage. His speed and playmaking ability popped on our TV screens and it's legitimate when you go back and watch his film. This is another steal.
9. SF: DB Derwin James, Florida St.
This may be the best pick of the draft at No. 9. I wouldn't hate him as a top three overall pick. James is a supremely gifted playmaker and the best defensive back in the draft.
10. OAK: LB Tremaine Edmunds, Va Tech
Edmunds and Smith are clearly the top two linebackers on the board and the Raiders are going to get one of them. With Smith off the board here they will roll with Edmunds. You can make a case for either being the better option.
11. MIA: QB Baker Mayfield, Oklahoma
The Dolphins can't pass up on Mayfield here. There is a chance someone trades up to grab him, but I'm not mocking trades. If he is sitting there, Mayfield will be in Miami to push for Ryan Tannehill's job. Compares to: Drew Brees
12. BUF: QB Josh Rosen, UCLA
The Bills will be thrilled if Rosen fell to them at 12. This only happens if no one else decides to jump up and get him. I don't think they will though unless the Cardinals make a huge move. Rosen may be the best quarterback in the draft. Compares to: Jay Cutler
13. WAS: DT Vita Vea, Washington
Vea is a huge tackle you plug in the middle of the line to stop the run. While some believe Da'Ron Payne is the top defensive tackle the draft you can't teach size. At about two-inches taller and 35 pounds heavier at 347 pounds, Vea is a freak at his size.
14. GB: WR Calvin Ridley, GB
The Packers desperately need defensive help. They will fall victim to themselves again trying to please Aaron Rodgers and replace Jordy Nelson. Ridley will be the top wideout drafted and he's headed to Wisconsin. Compares to: Marvin Harrison
15. ARI: QB Lamar Jackson, Louisville
Lamar Jackson is flying up draft boards and Sam Bradford is not the long-term answer in Arizona. He never is no matter how much teams keep paying him. The Cards will snatch Jackson and groom him to be the future. You can make a strong case he's a top three QB in this draft. Compares to: Mike Vick
16. BAL: DE Marcus Davenport, UTSA
Davenport is viewed by many to be the top edge rusher after Chubb. He's a great fit in Baltimore and exactly what they tend to look for in Baltimore. This seems like the perfect fit.
