Week 4: Sleepers of the Week

These lesser-known players deserve to start this week due to matchup or other circumstances. This week's picks include Rex Grossman, Chad Henne, Ryan Grant, Willis McGahee, and Bernard Scott.

Lance Moore and the New Orleans Saints travel to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars in week four. Moore is coming off an excellent game against the Houston Texans in which he caught nine passes for 88 yards and a touchdown, while also catching two two-point conversions. Moore proved that he is fully healthy and should continue to put up good fantasy numbers, especially with Marques Colston still recovering from an injury. Moore is a good play as a WR 3 in normal scoring fantasy leagues, and an even better play in point per reception leagues. Fantasy owners can start Lance Moore this week and can expect at least five catches for 70 yards and one touchdown from the Saints wide receiver.

Nate Washington and the Tennessee Titans travel to Cleveland to face the Browns in week four. Washington is going to be counted on by the Titans to take over as their go-to wide receiver with Kenny Britt set to miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury. Washington should be able to step up, as he has gotten off to an excellent start of the season (even before the injury to Britt). Through the first three games of the season, Washington has caught 21 passes for 258 yards and one touchdown from Matt Hasselbeck. Washington's value is only going to increase as the season progresses, so if he is on your league's waiver wire, he should be claimed this week. Fantasy owners can get Nate Washington into their lineups this week and can expect around six catches for 80 yards and a touchdown from the Titans' new number one wide receiver.
