Week 9 - Secret Stars

Choose your Team Wisely and Win a Fantasy Million

Now, It's Your Turn. If you're ready to play, ENTER HERE. Week 9 Secret Stars below...

For many, this is the week they finally decide to jump in and join us in our Week 9 Fantasy Million Contest. Why is that you ask? Simple. They are facing the unfortunate reality that many have, that their team has little to no chance and they want a little action. They want that feeling that they had back on draft day when they looked at their team and said to themselves, "I've got a winner here."

Personally speaking for a second, I have been playing high stakes fantasy football for over ten years now and thanks to one David Wilson (ugg), I'm fighting to stay above water, but I'm having an absolute blast this season. That's because in addition to the thirty+ fantasy redrafts, dynasty and draftmaster leagues I'm in, I'm playing the FFToolbox Weekly Game and each week is a brand new week.

The concept is simple. Pick a lineup and win some cash.

In addition to that, we're looking down the road to the Week 16 Contest. Everyone is trying to win an entry or entries into the Week 16 Millionaire Grand Final where the Top Prize is $1,000,000 with over 3.1 Million in prizes. The payouts are incredible:

Now you can always buy your way in for $1,500 but for most of us, that's not an option, so we'll try winning our way in. Several of our Toolbox readers have actually already done so.

Good for them. Now, it's Your Turn.

Step 1: Enter the FFToolbox Weekly Contest. It's $10 to play and you can enter up to 2 teams. Win our contest and you win $300 and a FREE ENTRY into the Million $ Qualifier the following week. It's that simple.

To help you pick your lineup (which is due by Sunday Kickoff) we we break down some of the players you should be taking a closer look at as you try to field the best Week 9 Lineup. Here they are.

QB – Josh McCown @ GB – Down goes Cutler. An all too familiar phrase we've come to expect, but with Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery and Matt Forte surrounding him, Josh McCown is a good bet to be fantasy relevant this week. As a fill-in, he put up over 200 yards without turning the ball over. Green Bay gives up a lot of yards and there's a good chance he's playing from behind in the 2nd half.

RB – Zac Stacy vs TEN – Color us all impressed vs the Seahawks on Monday night. In addition to trying to acquire him across dynasty leagues this week, (and willing to pay for him) he's a great play this week against the Titans who allow the 7th most fantasy points to running backs this season. Stacy avoided a big injury scare and trails only Alfred Morris, DeMarco Murray and LeSean McCoy in yards per carry this season. He knocked on the door this week, expect him to knock it down on Sunday. Watch the practice reports all week. if he practices on Friday, get him in your lineup.

WR – Kendall Wright @ STL – I love picking up players off a bye week. Many a fantasy player will forget his 9 catch 98 yard Week 7 performance against the Niners. He received twelve targets and they were evenly distributed throughout the game. He's clearly Locker's favorite and first option and a good bet to have a fantastic second half the season. Trade for him now and enjoy the ride!

TE – Coby Fleener @ HOU – The time is now to be trading FOR Coby Fleener. You're buying him at what's arguably, the lowest price of his career. The problem has been the hit and miss performances. Fleener has three games of over fourteen fantasy points and four games under five. The loss of Reggie Wayne opens up a huge opportunity for Fleener so I'm willing to bet the 5 catch and a Touchdown Fleener from the Bronco game is the tight end we see the rest of the way.
