Week 15: Player Upgrades

The passers, runners and receivers rising the short and long term fantasy football ranks This week's picks include Profiled players include Matt Ryan, Carson Palmer, Toby Gerhart, Marcel Reece, and Jordy Nelson.

White has bounced back from early-season injuries and gets a cupcake-soft game against the Redskins this week in the comforts of the Georgia Dome. Over the past two games, he's caught 18 passes for 217 yards on 24 targets. He hasn't found the end zone yet, but the Redskins have a penchant for giving up the big play and Matt Ryan has been at his best at home this year. It all adds up to a monster game for White, which will finally reward his long-suffering owners.

Joe Flacco has missed Pitta all year and so have fantasy footballers everywhere amidst a desolate tight end landscape. The Ravens quickly put Pitta to work upon his return from injury, targeting him 11 times to the tune of six catches for 48 yards and a touchdown. In fact, Pitta was the third-most targeted tight end in Week 14. Considering the emphasis the Ravens put on the tight end position, make sure to grab Pitta should he stuck on the outside looking in at Jimmy Graham and Charles Clay.
