Week 5: Sleepers

While we're not projecting starting type stats for these players, they have good potential and could surprise. This week's picks include Sam Bradford, Willis McGahee, Danny Woodhead, Marlon Brown, and Denarius Moore.

Pryor may be listed questionable for the Week 5 matchup against the Chargers; however, the outcome is much more clear. That's because San Diego is allowing the most fantasy points to quarterbacks per game (30.1). Pryor is a bit limited as a passer. Luckily the Chargers have also allowed 106 rushing yards and two rushing TDs to opposing QBs as well. Pryor probably could have played last week, so he is likely chomping at the bit to get back on the field. It says a lot that the Raiders wouldn't even humor a quarterback controversy after Matt Flynn's underwhelming Week 4. Pryor is the man from here on out and this is the sort of game that will build his confidence. What you have to be hoping for is at least 200 passing yards and about 80 rushing with a score or two to really drive him up rankings boards in the coming weeks.

Winslow is a total gamer. You know he's playing through pain, gritting his teeth and doing whatever he can to win. After disappearing in Week 3 due to his questionable status and injured knees, the pass-catching tight end tallied another six receptions for 73 yards. Not bad for a guy with two bum knees and a rookie quarterback. Winslow honestly doesn't amount to much beyond a so-so backup tight end. Atlanta has allowed TEs to find paydirt in three of their four games. Winslow actually leads the team in receptions (16) and has just one fewer target (23) than Santonio Holmes and Stephen Hill. That says a lot, even if this offense isn't anything to write home about. Grab Winslow off of waivers if he's there and you're in need of a backup or fill-in starter during an upcoming bye week.
