Week 11: Game Time Decisions - Injury Updates

We let you know the playing chances of the big name players who are injured. This week's picks include Profiled players include Darren McFadden, Michael Floyd, Terrelle Pryor, Santonio Holmes, and Stevie Johnson.

Vernon Davis suffered a concussion during the week 10 loss to Carolina and finished with a disappointing one catch for two yards. He'll need to pass all NFL mandated tests before being cleared for the critical week 11 matchup with New Orleans. Davis is averaging a career best 65 yards per game with seven touchdowns on the season. If VD is unable to go, second round rookie Vance McDonald could get his first career start. McDonald saw a major uptick in playing time, but was held without a catch after Davis exited the week 10 loss to Carolina. The Saints' defense has been stingy against the tight end as they are allowing the fifth fewest fantasy points per game to the position (allowed just two touchdowns to TEs this year).

The Falcons' lost season continued to spiral downward in week 10 as they were blown out by Seattle. Adding insult to injury, their veteran tight end suffered a toe injury that has him listed as questionable for this week's matchup with Tampa Bay. The 37-year-old has been a model of consistency, eclipsing 867 yards receiving in nine of the last 10 seasons and entering the 2013 season with the seventh most receiving yards in NFL history at the tight end position. This year he's averaging 50 yards per game with four touchdowns through nine games. Gonzalez has been an iron man during his career as he's missed just three games during his first 14 seasons in the NFL. If Gonzo is unable to suit up against Tampa, fourth round rookie Levine Toilolo (Stanford) would start against a Bucs defense allowing seven fantasy PPG to opposing tight ends.
