Week 8: Game Time Decisions - Injury Updates

We let you know the playing chances of the big name players who are injured. This week's picks include Profiled players include Michael Vick, DeMarco Murray, Steven Jackson, Danny Amendola, and Percy Harvin.

Roddy White is battling hamstring and ankle injuries that forced him to miss his first NFL game in his ninth year. He was unable to practice on Wednesday and the Falcons could very well rest him another week after the offense impressed in a week seven win over Tampa led by Harry Douglas – 149 yards and a touchdown. On the season, White has just 14 carries for 129 yards and has yet to score. He has topped 1,000 yards in each of the past six seasons, but that seems highly unlikely in 2013. The week eight meeting with Patrick Peterson and the Cardinals will be difficult as they are allowing the fifth fewest fantasy PPG to wide receivers.

Jimmy Graham did not practice Wednesday and his status for the week eight matchup with Buffalo is in doubt. He was held without a catch in the Week 6 loss at New England and apparently the bye week wasn't enough time for him to heal completely from the ankle injury he sustained against the Patriots. Graham is averaging 98 yards per game (four 100+ yard performances) and six touchdowns through the first six games of this season. The 26 year-old difference maker missed just two games during his first three seasons in the league and scored 25 touchdowns coming into 2013. Veteran Ben Watson would start if Graham sits out against a Bills defense allowing the third fewest points per game to tight ends. Buffalo is yielding just 32 yards per game and have allowed two touchdowns to the tight end position. Graham owners would be wise to check if Washington's Jordan Reed is available.
