Week7: Super Sleepers

While we're not projecting starting type stats for these players, they have good potential and could surprise. This week's picks include Profiled players include Chad Henne, Chris Ivory, Roy Helu, Jarrett Boykin, and Riley Cooper.

Levine Toilolo has seen increased workload in two tight end schemes and it appears that Mike Smith will be working with his offense to further elevate Toilolo's playing time. With Julio Jones on the injured reserve with his foot injury and Roddy White trudging along and non-productive, Toilolo looks to be an interesting option in deep leagues and during upcoming bye weeks. He is a monster presence on the field and should begin to see red zone targets if all progresses with two TE sets as planned. Currently, Levine is being utilized as a blocking option to support Atlanta's struggling offensive line, but with the injury woes at wide out and coverage coming to the other receivers who have stepped up, Toilolo could surprise defenses and find himself making a fantasy impact sooner than later. Tony Gonzalez and Harry Douglas are the primary targets for Matt Ryan and as they see coverage shift, Toilolo will see openings to show his size and talent.

Tim Wright was an undrafted rookie, who is showing that he belongs in the NFL and can compete. Wright is cross-listed as a WR/TE, making him valuable in some fantasy formats where he can be played in a WR3 or TE2 spot on rosters. Last week Wright saw nine targets and hauled in seven of those for 91 yards. One might argue that these stats were against a reeling Philadelphia defense, but Wright's increased targets and ability to convert targets to receptions is appealing. Wright should be looked at in deep leagues where a TE2 can be useful and should be considered in some leagues as a bye week plug and play. This week's match-up against Atlanta could mean a solid outing for Wright as the Atlanta defense is allowing the seventh most fantasy points to TEs. I expect to see Wright continue his jump in fantasy status this week.
