Week 2: Start 'Em

Though these players might normally be on your fantasy bench, they might be worth starting this week. This week's picks include Joique Bell, Fred Jackson, DeAngelo Williams, Marlon Brown, and Cecil Shorts.

Rod Streater will never be confused with a top end fantasy receiver, but he happens to be in a decent situation right now. The 6-foot-3 target was praised in the offseason for the improvement from year one to year two and he seems to have built a rapport with 2nd year quarterback Terrelle Pryor. The Raiders are a bad team and will be down most weeks, meaning they will be passing a lot. In Week 1, Streater received a team-high eight targets, catching five of them for 70 yards. Facing lousy Jacksonville next, look for Streater and Pryor to hook up again. Streater makes for a solid flex start and low-end WR3 in deep leagues.

The Ravens lost a lot in the pass game when receiver Anquan Boldin was traded away and tight end Dennis Pita was lost to injury. No one was sure where all those passes would go. In Week 1, Dallas Clark led the Ravens in pass targets with 12, catching seven of them for 87 yards. Clark could have had an even better day if not for some bad drops, including a gimme touchdown. The other primary tight end - Ed Dickson - was only targeted five times, catching only one of them. While Clark definitely didn't look great, he has familiarity with offensive coordinator Jim Caldwell, who knows him from their time together in Indianapolis. Then the Ravens lost another receiver in Jacoby Jones. Clark should therefore continue to see targets, making him a start in 2TE leagues.
